Cogna today announced two senior appointments to its leadership team as the company scales internationally to meet rising demand from critical industries. Luke Rogers joins as Go-to-Market Advisor, and James Dickinson will lead the UK Solution Strategy (SolStrat) team.
Luke Rogers appointed Go-to-Market Advisor
Luke Rogers has more than 20 years of experience building and scaling sales organizations for high-growth technology companies. He began his SaaS career at AppDynamics, where he was part of the early sales team that helped grow the business from a valuation of $80M to a $3.7 billion acquisition by Cisco in four years. Following this, he led global go-to-market at Instabase, transitioning the company from founder-led sales to an international enterprise sales organization and driving revenue more than sevenfold in under three years.
Luke currently serves as VP Sales EMEA at ComplyAdvantage, one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI unicorns, where he focuses on developing enterprise sales playbooks and expanding into new markets. At Cogna, he will advise on go-to-market strategy, talent development, and sales execution, ensuring the company can scale effectively while staying close to customer needs.
James Dickinson appointed UK Solstrat Director
James Dickinson has spent 15 years helping organizations across sectors - including aviation, healthcare, and defense - solve complex problems through data and technology. He was one of the first employees in Palantir’s London office, helping to establish the team and leading the delivery of major programs across the globe, from Brazil to Norway.
Most recently, James served as AI Director at the NHS, running a national team focused on applying AI in genomics and collaborating with technology partners such as AWS, DeepMind, and NVIDIA. His career in AI began at university, where he worked on one of the first cloud-enabled machine learning applications for breast cancer diagnosis. Since then, he has overseen projects ranging from early intervention in social care to anomaly detection in European aviation.
At Cogna, James will lead the UK SolStrat team, working directly with clients to design and deliver bespoke digital tools that solve key operational challenges.
“Luke and James bring a wealth of experience in scaling go-to-market organizations and delivering transformative technology to customers. Their leadership will be invaluable as we enter our next phase of growth.” — Ben Peters, CEO and Co-founder, Cogna
